What kind of support will I receive with my software?
We make every effort to make sure our new customers have the best possible experience
with mobile technology. Our technicians will help with your initial site setup and
we'll offer free technical support for the first year you own the software.
Technical support is available Monday - Friday from 9AM to 5PM USA - Mountain time zone.
What happens if I break my device or totally discharge both batteries?
You will need to reload the mobile software onto the handheld device. The installation guide
covers this in great detail and most users can set the software up on their own. If you need help
with a reinstall and it occurs during your maintenance contract we will assist you at no cost. If the problem
occurs after your support contract has expired we will still be happy to help you but an hourly cost will apply.
Do I have to pay for patches and upgrades?
We offer all patches to our software free of charge. We want to ensure you have the best possible experience
and that means the software must run great for you.
From time to time we find small issues and correct
them. These updates are 100%
free! Major version upgrades are NOT free but will be offered at a substantial discount to our existing customers.
Any exciting news in the maintenance area?
YES! We are currently testing a solution made by a large, well recognized mobile software company that will
integrate seamlessly with our software. The add-on component automates upgrades, patches, and
imaging new or failed devices. This component will cost a one time fee of $50 dollars. This
component used in conjunction with our annual maintenance will give our users a simple mechanism to keep
their handheld devices maintained and working year round without any technical savvy required! Drop the
pocket pc or smartphone in the cradle and the device will install the software and update itself without user
intervention.
