How is Mobile Manager licensed?
Mobile Manager is licensed by the site. Users are allowed to run the Mobile Manager
base station on any computer in their environment. With the purchase of our standard
software suite or the premiere suite (includes sales and work orders) users receive
one handheld connection license. Additional connection licenses are sold at a 50%
discount.
How is the credit card client licensed?
Mobile Managers Credit Card Client is licensed by the month. Users pay a small
monthly fee for the software and can process as many transactions as they like for
a flat fee. Users can renew or discontinue the monthly service at any time. The
monthly charge is applied on the 5th of every month and is non-refundable.
How long do you support software versions?
We will support two versions of the software. The current version and the
previous release. In other words, if you buy version 2 and version 3 is released
your software will continue to be supported until version 4 is released.
How often will major versions be released?
Major releases will be made available roughly once every 12 months. We will patch
and maintain supported version of the software. Our goal is to make a great product
even better every year for our users by adding exciting new features.
Are updates and new major versions free?
All maintenance updates are free. We want our users to have the best possible experience
with mobile technology. Major version releases are offered to existing users for a
substantial discount.
