Step 3 - The Count - Scan and count items
Count the merchandise. Start the pocket pc and select the wall to wall inventory
module. Select the inventory name previously created and you are ready to
begin counting. The counting process is straightforward. Scan an item,
enter a count and press send to submit the count. Repeat this process until
all items are counted.

Mobile Manager makes taking inventory faster, easier and more accurate.
You may have noticed the Inven Ct. box in the above screenshots. This box
displays the aggregate count for an item. For example: You sell cable modems
and this month the comcast cable modems are on sale. You have 10 modems on the store shelves and you have 14 modems at the end of the aisle on display. You've
inventoried all of the aisles and you are finishing your inventory by scanning the
promotional items. When you scan the cable modems you notice your inventory
already contains a count of 10. Add a count of 14 for the promotional area
and press send to submit the count. If you lookup the cable modems again you
will find the Inven Ct box shows 24! Success! Mobile Manager automatically
combined the counts for like items and returned the aggregate value. Users
can add positive or negative counts at any time to adjust the running count total
for an item.
