Mobile Manager Sales Module
Sell merchandise on your Pocket PC or Smartphone
Use this module if you need to perform sales transactions in real time with the
point of sale system. Scan and lookup items, add customer information for
billing, add shipping, etc. This module allows users to broker complete transactions
including taking payment types: cash, check, charge or credit card. Credit
card approvals performed via Intuit
Merchant Services using our MMCardclient product. Use a belt printer to print
a reciept, use digital signature to capture customer signature or email receipts....or
all of the above. Works great for mobile sales, side walk sales, line buster
for busy seasons, or for any sales transaction that you would like to complete without
dragging the merchandise to the register.
Can I sell merchandise anywhere on a hand held device?
Yes! Mobile Manager's sales module works great on local area networks and on wide
area networks. This means you can take your Smartphone on the road and sell
merchandise anywhere you can connect to the internet. The Symbol MC70 is our
preferred device for off site sales. The MC70 offers WAN/LAN connection, full
cell phone functionality and wireless internet connectivity via a wireless data
plan. Large wireless companies such as AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint offer
wireless data plans that you can purchase separately and use in conjunction with your smart
device. Users can use the built in security of the Windows operating system
to create IPSec or VPN tunnels to the home office. Once connected to your
business network you can sell merchandise and take payments in real time.
All transaction data is sent immediately to the point of sale system so you will
never find yourself out of sync.

As you can see, Mobile Manager makes it easy to broker transactions
on a Pocket PC or Smartphone device. I'm sure that you are asking yourself..what
about printing? Well we've got more good news for you! Our remote software
has built in support for several bluetooth enabled portable printers. Our
preferred mobile printer is the Citizen CMP10BT printer. The CMP10BT printer
is light weight, durable and has a built in belt clip that attaches easily to most
belts. The belt printer also has a magnetic credit card reader built in which
allows users to get swiped rates on credit card transactions.
