Mobile Managers Purchasing Module includes all the functionality needed to restock or add new merchandise to your store using a hand held computer. Edit or create purchase orders at the point of activity. The ability to view what is actually on the shelf while ordering provides a great opportunity to eliminate overstocking.
It's also easy to identify merchandise that is out of stock or
nearly out of stock.
How do I order?
Enough with the abstracts...how do I order merchandise? Below you will find
a step by step example of ordering merchandise using Mobile Manager.
First, we need a purchase order to order merchandise against. The
user selects a vendor to order from and then presses the create new button.
Notice a new purchase order is created.
Create the PO

Select the PO and choose Action -> Order
Scan items and enter the quantity to order

Item details are displayed after successful scans. Enter a quantity of 20 and press "Send".
That's it!
When you have scanned and ordered all of the items, simply press exit and you're
done. You can find and review the purchase order in your point of sale system
or you can review the details of the purchase order on the pocket pc, whichever you
prefer. This module works on local area networks and on wide area networks
so it's the perfect tool for users that want to order within their store or
for users that visit trade shows and want to order merchandise from remote locations.
