Hopefully you have been able to find most of the information you need to evaluate
our products for your business. We've tried to think of everything but as you know....it’s an impossible task!
Below you'll find a list of the most frequently asked
questions and answers.
Q. Do I need an Intuit
Merchant Services account?
A. Yes! You must have a valid and active merchant account to take credit cards.
The merchant account must also have, “Allow 3rd party applications” enabled.

Which mobile operating systems will the software work on?
A. Pocket PC 2003,
Windows Mobile 5 and Windows Mobile 6.
Q.
Do I need a touch screen?
A. We strongly recommend using phones or pda's with touch screens. Smartphones
are fairly inexpensive and work great. Nearly all of these devices have touch screens
and a stylus.

What does the software cost?
A. The software client is $14.95 per month. There are no additional processing charges,
transaction fees, percentages, usage limitations, etc. You can charge one or one hundred
credit cards and the fee stays the same.

Why do you charge a monthly fee?
A.
Instead of charging a “per transaction” fee or a sliding scale fee we decided on a monthly model. It allows us to keep the software
up to date, pays for our ongoing support costs and allows us to keep abreast of the
constantly changing requirements to keep your transactions secure! For the cost of an
average lunch you can have credit card processing all month long on your smart device.
Q.
How long does it take to setup the solution?
A. Setup usually takes 30 minutes. Follow the installation and configuration guide.
Users must have the allow webstores/3rd party applications configured and confirmed with
IMS for the software to work. Enabling this feature with Intuit Merchant Services
may take 1-2 days.
Q.
What happens if someone steals my phone?
A. We know from time to time mobile devices are lost, destroyed or worse stolen!
With that in mind, we deliberately crafted our solution to only allow users to
CREATE charges. Users cannot reverse, refund, void or otherwise give money back with our software.
We believe these transactions should be performed at a desktop computer.

Will it work on my Blackberry?
A. Not this year. Check back again from time to time. You never know what
you may find.
Q.
Can I use multiple handhelds at the same time with ONE merchant account?
A. Yes. You can use as many handhelds as you would like concurrently. The software for
each device costs $14.95 per month. Special monthly pricing applies for users with 5 or more units.
